Product Details
Description:
I left Kennebunk and sold my house but brought a lot of the local history to GA in images and documents to be preserved for collectors. This is a 1798 document written by Samuel Phillips the apparent Senate President on writing the job description for a messenger. Interesting, as it is now a staff of jobs from door opening to building maintenance. Also interesting is Phillips position of a merchant in the Revolution and supplying Washington with gunpowder he made in Andover. Also, he was the founder of the Phillips Academy in Andover MA. Some seam separation, good condition. Shipped with USPS First Class Package.
